REVALUATION PROCEDURE
MAY/JUNE 2009 EXAMINATIONS

1. All the candidates irrespective of the Marks secured in the University Examinations can apply for Revaluation.

2. To apply, a student can opt for any one of the following two options:

Option 1: Apply for Revaluation only with a fee of Rs.400/- per script.

Option 2: Apply for Photocopy–cum–Revaluation with a fee of Rs.700/- per script.

3. Candidates who have applied for Photocopy-cum-Revaluation alone are eligible for the Review for their answer scripts (by remitting the prescribed fee) only after the Publication of the Revaluation Results, if not satisfied with the revalued results. Those who have applied only for Revaluation are not eligible for the review of their answer scripts. The details of the Review
procedure will be announced along with their revaluation results.

4. Photocopying and Revaluation work are being carried out simultaneously. If any discrepancy is noticed in the valuation after getting the Photocopy, the same may be brought to the notice of the Controller of Examinations through their respective Colleges within 3 days from the date of receipt of the Photocopy.

5. Separate application has been prescribed for Revaluation and Photocopy-cum-Revaluation. The applications may be obtained from the Office of the Principal of the College.

The last date for applying for Revaluation is 21-07-2009 and the students can apply from 15-07-2009 onwards.

PROCEDURE FOR REVALUATION REVIEW – MARK SYSTEM

FOR STUDENTS:

The students who have got “NO CHANGE” or “FAILURE” in the Revaluation Result and still having confidence of GETTING PASS MARK can apply for REVIEW. They are advised to follow the following procedure.

1. The candidates who have applied for REVALUATION CUM PHOTOCOPY alone are eligible for review of answer scripts.

2. The answer script is to be valued by a faculty member of the college and he/she should recommend for review with the breakup of marks for each question.

3. A letter to the Principal requesting review of the paper with proper justification should be sent.

4. Enclose a Demand Draft (Review fee) for Rs.3,000/- per script drawn in favour of the Controller of Examinations, Anna University, Chennai 600 025.

5. Submit the letter with the draft to the College on or before 31-03-2009.

FOR COLLEGE:

1. The Principals are requested to forward only the genuine representations of the students who have obtained the photocopy of the answer script to the Controller of Examinations for further review.

2. The last date for forwarding review request is 02-04-2009 from the date of publication of revaluation result.

NOTE: The review fee of Rs.3,000/- paid per script will be refunded on
getting pass mark in the review of the answer script.

Revaluation procedure for Jan 2009 examinations

Students who are going for Revaluation of their Examination Papers for Jan 2009 have two options as below.

1.Apply for Revaluation only with a fee of Rs.400/- per script.

2.Apply for Photocopy-cum-Revaluation with a fee of Rs.700/-per script.

The last date for applying for Revaluation is 6-03-2009 and the students can apply from 26-02-2009 onwards.

Also note that the B.E./B.Tech. candidates admitted under credit system are eligible to apply for revaluation only for 5 courses.
